Rainhill Trials week 3 recap.

In July I will be competing at the Rainhill Trials in Manchester; one of the biggest CrossFit competitions in the UK.

Week 3! More of the same… Lots of training.

This morning I received the seeding workouts that I’ll need to do over the next few weeks.

There were some that I expected from talking to people that had attended the event before. Some max rep gymnastic movements and some heavy lifting.

The two that look newest to me are the metcons.

  • 1 - 7mins OMEM 10 burpees over rower, max cal row between.

  • 2 - Ascending ladder of wall balls and box over, I think I may need a lighter ball for this as using the 15kg one will definitely make it harder (the workout should be with a 9kg ball) .

I did write more… then accidentally deleted it, if I get chance I’ll re-type it again at some point this week. But for now, its time to eat.
